Introduction to the Salesforce Non-Profit Starter Pack

The Salesforce.com Foundation has created a set of customisations for non-profits that is designed to be the starting point for further customisation and adaptation. It allows non-profits to

  • manage organisations and contacts
  • manage households
  • view the various affiliations that individuals would have to organisations
  • view relationships between contacts
  • record and manage recurring and single donations

This workshop will cover best practice customisations, and review several case studies and scenarios to help demonstrate how to use Salesforce as a database, a marketing tool, a donor management tool, a reporting tool and the implications of social media for marketing and fundraising.

Who Should Attend?

This event is equally for organisations new to Salesforce.com and those wishing to refresh their knowledge of the non profit starter pack. We will review all of the areas of the Salesforce Non-Starter Pack whilst constantly referring to established best practices and pay attention to customisation that non-profits can make to ensure they get the best out of this solution.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for this course however some familiarity with Salesforce is advantageous.
